Media Planner Buyer

Due to a number of new business wind they now require a Media Planner / Buyer with a 1-2 years experience to join the growing team!

My client, a global media agency is extremely ROI-focused, developing campaigns for B2B and B2C clients that incorporate digital, out-of-home, TV, radio and print.

The media planner buyer conducts the planning and implementation of cross platform media and marketing tactics within their group for clients across the ANZ region.

Responsibilities;

• Provide support in media communication activities to ensure that customers’ needs and requirements are met
• Build strong customer and media relationships, acting as the point person for campaigns
• Implement campaign planning, optimization strategies, and campaign performance success for a set of top tier client relationships
• Provide consultative strategic direction to your accounts and identifying appropriate programs and services to meet client needs
• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with management regarding account status, issues, and opportunities
• Ensure all campaign collateral is available for the team as required, including creative, pixels, ad tags, performance goals, etc.
• Work with internal tools and staff to analyse campaign delivery and optimize performance on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize cross-client data, market and best practices analysis to define campaign strategies and execution direction
• Actively take part in client presentations as requested. Identify up-sell opportunities on additional programs and services and communicate to sales.
• Regularly report to account managers on all media campaign performances


Skills;

• Experience in client relationship management for all forms of media, ideally with 2 years + media experience.
• Successful track record of building relationships and managing client engagements with senior executives at media companies.
• Must be focused on customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidate needs to be able to quickly gain an in depth knowledge of customers’ needs, requirements, and organizational structures
• Strong business, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and proven professional, with demonstrated ability to create and administer complex campaign schedules.
• Knowledge of the online advertising industry and ad serving technologies
• Proven capacity to utilize analytics to drive campaign optimization
• Knowledge of current ad serving technologies and capabilities
