Media Marketing Manager/Paid Media Lead

Our Mountain View, CA client has asked for our help identifying a PAID MEDIA LEAD for a 6 MONTH ONSITE CONTRACT ENGAGEMENT.


The paid media lead is responsible for defining and executing a paid media strategy for a segment of a top tech firm in the US and Canada and will work as the liaison for a global paid media plan.

This role acts as the primary point person with the agency of record to develop a cross-channel marketing mix to garner leads to further nurture and send to sales for additional qualification. The paid media lead also works across teams to ensure paid media programs are set up properly for lead routing, tracking, and reporting and works with the agency to optimize in-flight programs.

Responsibilities:
- Help shape the marketing strategy for medium and large business customer acquisition initiatives
- Work across regions to develop a global paid media strategy
- Leverage and test different channels to execute paid media campaigns to generate demand
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to maximize results
- Manage the planning, design and execution of the above initiatives, with a keen eye on building pipeline for sales

Skills and qualifications:
- Most important qualification is B2B campaign experience, preferably on the demand generation/paid media side
- Agency experience is also a plus with an emphasis on paid media and/or cost-per-lead or awareness campaigns for B2B technology clients
- Experience working with and managing large scale media budgets
- BA or BS degree with equivalent practical experience
- 5 or more years of marketing experience, including managing B2B marketing campaigns, paid media, email nurture and social marketing
- Experience planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including budget management
- A strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics, such as CPL, lead score, pipeline and closed revenue
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce.com or similar), marketing automation tools (Marketo or similar), and tracking software to assess campaign effectiveness
- Superb project management skills, including managing external creative and media agencies, various types of vendors, and international projects
- Exceptionally detail oriented
- Experience using data and analytics to drive decision making
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers, management, 3rd parties, and cross-functional teams
