9-12 months interim role

In partnership with the senior marketing leadership team, you’ll drive the sustained growth in sales and profit through the development of pan-european media strategies that increase market share, market shopper penetration, brand awareness and footfall.
We are seeking to appoint an individual who is passionate about media and brands!

Media planning in outdoor, radio and TV are highly desirable.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record creating and executing communications plans which have delivered commercially.

International experience would also be an advantage and an ability to influence and engage key stakeholders is essential as you will be judged on delivery and bottom line contribution to the Pan European Business.

You will be the media strategy champion and be working alongside other smart and passionate people to create an aligned (pan-European) integrated team.

You will need to be an established media professional able to develop best in class strategies and ensure they are implemented across multiple markets – and be able to hit the ground running.

• Manage Media agencies and the evaluation of all media campaigns and report findings to the European Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Leadership Team on monthly basis.

• Drive country efficiency and financial diligence of all media teams and excellence in budget management.

• Deliver other media projects such as econometric modelling, data visualisation and any other media projects

• Work with the auditor to develop the quarterly media reporting.

Personal Specification:
• Fluent in English – proven excellent writing and presenting skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic German & Polish would be preferable.
• International experience, preferable gained in a multi-channel environment.
• Can demonstrate recent examples of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience of working within a pan-European matrix business.
• Ability to lead and prioritise tasks logically in a complex environment.
• An innovator with commercial pragmatism at the core.
• Successful track record in brand development and local implementation.
• Budget, project and stakeholder management experience.
• Minimum 7 years media planning, buying and communications experience.
• Previously worked client side and agency side.
