Essential Functions:

  • Editing stories that come from the Media Shower team. This will start with roughly 3 stories per day and will be increased as output increases. These stories will be edited to make sure they fit all of the SEO guidelines as laid out by the SEO Editorial Director and SEO Content Editor. This includes writing up the keyword emails/meta descriptions/finding graphics/and tag page excerpts for these stories before they are sent to production.
  • Forming campaigns to be run for the outsourced media partners with assistance from the SEO Editorial Director. This involves determining which topics to cover, which keywords to use, when to write each story, and maintaining deadlines. This will require close collaboration with the media shower team.
  • Reporting and analyzing all data that is tied to articles that he/she has overseen. The Outsourced Media Editor will compile a weekly report of every article that has been published and the traffic/conversion totals for those pieces. This will ensure that the content being provided from media shower is always being used for the best purpose, and the right topics are being covered.
