Our Content Creation teams - Sport, News & Entertainment; we also provide our services to Independent Production Houses. We have over 700 talented people who make sure that our customers’ have a great content experience; from the pictures they see to the sound they hear. 
We are looking for a Media Coordinator to join the Media Management team as a part of the wider Production Services team, based  in West London. 
The role: 
The Media Coordinator will sit at the central point of all content processing across linear, VOD and OTT platforms. Acting as the focal figure for content operations, you will proactively manage long form and short form materials throughout Sky’s Broadcast system, update and assign IDs to the linear and On Demand platforms, and monitor and manage IDs throughout various systems and adhere to TX critical deadlines. 
The Media Coordinator will oversee the end-to-end process for all content processing, from coordinating ordering and delivery of materials from studios and distributors, through to managing the delivery of access services: subtitling and audio description that is required by broadcast legislation across all Sky channels, meeting Ofcom regulations. You will also be responsible for managing internal and external relationships with various clients, studios and distributors. 
The Media Coordinator will also oversee delivery of over 9000 assets for the On Demand and OTT platforms across the full portfolio of Channels including Entertainment, Movies and Sports that are required each month. The Media Co-ordinator will work alongside project teams, support teams, managers and senior managers in ensuring that we are providing our customers with the latest and best content available. You will also play a pivotal role in major projects, representing the department and wider business areas, ensuring that the customer is at the central point of all work being carried out. 
The Media Co-ordinator will also provide the first line of support for our MAM system to over 3000 staff members in production teams across Sky and play a critical role in the sourcing, storage and archiving of media. 
The role provides a core line of communication for all clients, and therefore demands a high level of customer service and client focus, delivering against specific agreements pertaining to the acceptance, ingest, processing and timely delivery of content and its associated information. 
Your Skills: 
• Ability to demonstrate clear and concise communication skills with colleagues and customers alike, in order to provide a high standard of relevant and timely information pertaining to the work carried out 
• You will also need to be highly organised to deal with and prioritise your daily workload. 
• The ability to assess, maintain and develop own performance and aid the team performance objectively, against agreed productivity and quality targets is essential 
• Previous experience with media management or within a broadcast Media environment is highly advantageous. 
• A passion for the industry is a must and a general understanding of broadcast is essential. 
The role is based on a shift pattern Monday - Sunday, 7 day fortnight that is subject to change and will also include night shifts. Please only apply if this suits your circumstances.
