We are looking for individuals who can marshal their intuition, experience, and passion to articulate and socialize user experiences that enhance the ways our customers live, work, and play. Expect a fast-paced, fluid environment where collaboration, communication, and professionalism is key.

As a Motion Designer, you'll be responsible for massaging our optimized, productive user interfaces and workflows into delightful experiences that a pleasing to the eye, mind, and heart.

Responsibilities
• Strike a balance between interfaces are that pleasing to the eye as well as efficient and purpose-built
• Integrate and provide feedback to other design disciplines on the team
• Create and present motion designs and studies that bring user stories to life for a wide audience
• Identify and articulate new design patterns suitable across multiple products and workflows
• Assist in the production of guides, vision demos, and prototypes which establish and drive product-wide concepts, brand narratives, and experience value propositions
• Document design decisions for consumption by the broader design studio team, as well as key partner teams
• Work closely and iteratively with developers to ensure design accuracy and consistency
• Highlight unaddressed issues within his or her team and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality.

Requirements
• A BA/BS or higher degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, or field related degree.
• Possess deep knowledge and application of user-centered philosophies and motion design best practices
• 4+ years (post education) related UX design experience in product, company or agency. Passion for invention, human computer interaction, and seamless user experiences
• The ability to wear many hats and contribute across disciplines
• A history of prototyping new experiences built on new or emerging technology
• Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team
• Self-motivated and comfortable with the ambiguities inherent in incubation work
• Fearless in the face of new hardware, software, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of user-centered design approaches and interaction design best practices
• Strong brainstorming skills, from participation to leadership
• The ability to reduce complex concepts to understandable, actionable tasks
• A strong interest in design and technology and trends, with an eye toward the future

Desired Skills
• Proven experience and solid working knowledge of information architecture, task-flow models, state-transition diagrams, storyboarding, wire framing, creating design specifications and guidelines.
• Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop
• Ability to create and assess design solutions based on user goals and key scenarios.
• Problem solving, creative and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross functionally with other teams (Engineering, Research, Program Management & Marketing)
• An ability to create/ prototype design stories that articulate the desired user experience to the project team and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, directed, and independent
• Have a passion for quality, innovation, and world-class design.
• Offer active thought leadership in User Experience issues and trends.
• An ability to work through ambiguity and multiple priorities.

A portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity and proven experience in telling stories, building UI models, generating detailed wire frames, developing prototypes and delivering comprehensive specifications. Please indicate your specific roles and contributions for each project submitted as part of the portfolio.
Bonus
• Experience leading others in a team effort
• Coding and or markup language experience to help prototype and validate experiences
• Experience producing functional prototypes, motion studies, and interface models
