Designs and implements non-linear, animated sequences for prototypes or other types of work (i.e. emulation software) using a variety of multimedia authoring tools. May debug existing user-interface layouts and conform the user-interface to design specifications by modifying UI layouts and scripting animations.

Responsible for designing and implementing non-linear, animated sequences using a variety of multimedia authoring tools. Should have Debugging and design skills pertaining to UI layouts including creation of mock products which look and feel like a real program. Acts as consultant to other team leads to evangelize the capabilities of Action Scripting and other multimedia authoring tools.

Responsibilties
- Translate visual targets, art direction and briefs into UI screens and presentation sequences.
- Create storyboards, mood boards, and motion to communicate interaction and presentation targets.
- Create interactive UI and video sequences for use in presentations and usability studies
- Apply best practices in interaction, usability and motion graphics to ensure high-production value user experiences.
- Partner with artists, engineers and designers in collaborative, small team environment.
- Work with UI engineers to ensure correct implementation of designs.
- Presenting in regular team reviews of progress

Qualifications
- Design Portfolio demonstrating a proven track record for creating visually stunning and functional interfaces for games and/or web.
- 2+ years of professional experience working in interactive / GUI design.
- Experience of motion/animation and how it is best applied to UI.
- Experience designing UI for varied control schemes and devices seen in games.
- Solid understanding of usability and key aspects of user centered design.
- Able to communicate and maintain consistent and compelling visual style.
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with limited supervision.
- Can effectively contribute in all stages and facets of UI production.

2 plus years work related experience required. Must have experience with shipping a software product. Must have a well developed sense of interface design. Experience with object-oriented programming and interactive scripting languages (i.e. Flash Action Scripting and Director Lingo Scripting, JavaScript) may be required. Experience with web technologies (i.e. XML/XSL, CSS, DHTML, etc) required. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to provide creative solutions to technical problems. Must be able to take direction from the project lead. Portfolio review required. Bachelor's degree in multimedia or related field preferred.
