One of our valued clients is seeking a Marketing/Trade Show Assistant for a long term role in Round Rock, TX.

The Marketing Communication department seeks a high energy, motivated and detail oriented Communications or Marketing degree with a focus on Trade Show or Corporate Event coordination, as well as other marketing disciplines (PR, Advertising, etc.). Position will work across multiple divisions, with numerous vendors, as well as customers. Includes traveling domestically as needed (US/Canada about 6-7 times a year) to support events and to work with and coordinate, as part of a team, many of the event vendors. Candidates must have Trade Show/Corp Event experience.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include marketing research and event coordination, such as creating event documentation and presentations, managing event orders, and updating intranet sites using FrontPage/SharePoint. Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner is required. Travel to shows domestically (US and Canada about six - eight times a year) to support tradeshows (set-up, support the show during show hours, and tear-down). Work in various stations as concierge, hospitality staff and runner. Attend the annual company user’s group meeting and help with exhibits.

Minimum Requirements:

· Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner is required.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
· Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
· 2 to 4 years of prior related work experience is strongly desired but not required.
· Familiarity with MS FrontPage is a plus.
