Marketing/Data Analyst

AQUENT is seeking for a Marketing Analyst who is experienced in mining and analyzing various data elements to assist in the reporting, analysis, iteration and building of Marketing Activation campaigns, dashboards and tools. The selected talent must have at least 7 years of experienced in BI data movement between systems and configuring (preparing data to move in and out of Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Tableu Dashboard and MS Excel (Advanced knowledge is Excel is mandatory). This is a 6 months assignment to start (with a potential to extend) with a Fortune 500 Financial Company located in Owings Mills, MD (about 30mins outside of Baltimore, MD). Only W2 candidates are encouraged to apply as we are not in a position to sponsor or work with C2C and/or 1099 talent at this time. 


- College degree and 5 year of related work experience, or Associate degree and 7 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 10 years related work experience

- Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem solving skills

- Must understand and have performed data validation exercises, building data visualizations, and worked with spreadsheets and statistical models

- Experience working with Marketing and/or Customer Experience related data and reporting

- Ability to communicate recommendations at multiple organizational levels

- Prior experience with visualization tool(s) (ex. Tableau)

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

- Must be able to meet with partners and stakeholders of varying levels to gather and document data and/or analytical requirements for dashboards or other marketing software systems

- Ability to leverage cloud based software tools to perform daily work (CRM, Marketing Automation, etc.)

- Ability to work collaboratively with others in team environment o Possesses effective influencing and negotiating skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Understands and is familiar with the techniques and analysis associated with business, process and data modeling

- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Preferred

- Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud components (Campaign, Target, Audience Manager)

- Experience with CRM / SFA systems o Experience with Database Architecture in a Web Environment

- Prior experience in the Financial Services Industry

- Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL
