Marketing and Communications Manager

My client is a technology start up working with banking clients (Fintech & Traditional), some of the world’s biggest insurance providers, government and retail partners. Their current portfolio of clients is more than 800 strong, and growing.
 

You will be working in a team working cross-functionally with product and business development to help drive the business.


Responsibilities:
– Produce an engaging content strategy across multiple channels
– Establishing the brand as a thought leader within the industry
– Building and managing industry-wide media coverage 
– Identify and build relationships with affiliate partners and key influencers in the Fintech and payment space 
– Develop marketing and communications strategy for the products and services
– Supporting strategic initiatives and new business opportunities with relevant marketing materials 
– Defining and executing a marketing roadmap
– Executing marketing campaigns for internal and external stakeholders
– Identify opportunities to build and expand brand presence across all channels
– Leading the social media strategy
– Establish and manage editorial and industry events calendars. 
– Follow and report industry trends, best practices, competitive activity and areas of opportunity 
– Coordinate project delivery with product and development teams
– Analyse media coverage and PR campaign performance for company-wide reporting (metrics reports on key KPIs) 
– Optimise all online marketing activities

The Ideal Candidate: 
– Bachelors/Masters in Marketing or equivalent work experience 
– 2 years of marketing experience from B2B start-up or a high-growth organisation within innovation teams 
– Exceptional verbal and written English skills (other languages are a plus) 
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable speaking in public 
– Creative, energetic, resourceful, takes initiative, self-motivated and a team player 
– Highly organized, determined and detail oriented 
– Proficient at using the Microsoft suite, especially Word and PowerPoint 
– Comfortable with Adobe suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator 
– Video editing skills advantageous
– Good knowledge of the FinTech industry (not mandatory)
