Marketing Web Specialist

As a Marketing Web Specialist you work on a team responsible for content development, technical orientation and user perspective to online products, services, and communities. You will guide and ensure consistency throughout the site by following company image and quality standards.

Essential Functions:
• Manage Website content and design.
• Maintain site on a daily basis.
• Ensure website changes/additions are published in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Perform testing; monitoring and evaluation of site functions before sites are deployed live.
• Work cross functionally with the IT/Programming and Art departments on new or existing initiatives.
• Act as a project manager during redesigns and/or additions to the site.
• Convert printed content including associated images into web content.
• Act as a customer service liaison for users that have questions and/or problems with the web sites.
• Produce eDM files for email deployment.
• Responsible for the overall integrity of web products and should perform daily QA.
• Manage special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Consistently beats deadlines - with clean and thorough work.
• Superior HTML and CSS coding skills.
• Strong programming experience.
• Strong project management experience and excellent organization skills.
• Has proficiency with industry standard Web applications (e.g. Photoshop, etc).


Responsibility and Interaction:

• Responsibility:
o The types of tasks this individual is responsible are a mix of structured and unstructured tasks. This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.

• Interaction:
o This individual interacts primarily with Staff to Director level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be communication with employees in other functions as required.
o General direction is provided on routine work, and detailed direction is provided on new projects and assignments; as well as on-going review of activities and priorities.
o The ideal candidate will be an important contributor or lead on team projects.
o The candidate will report into Channel Marketing within Global Partner Marketing

Collective Traits:

• Manage all web & digital properties (Field Portal, Channel Central, Online Communities), websites
• html content and design. (not social media properties)
• Provide insight on where to publish content, etc. (expert in their function)
• Ensure website changes/additions are published in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Act as a project manager during redesigns and/or additions to the site.
• Convert printed and digital content including associated images into web content and publish to mobile app
• Act as a customer service and support liaison for users that have questions and/or problems with the web sites or portals.
• Landing page creation as needed
• Reports and Analytics

Education & Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor of Arts of Science Degree is required or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
