Marketing Traffic/Production Specialist

We are looking for a Marketing Traffic/Production Coordinator for a 6 month contract position in St. Pete. This individual will work under limited direction, to function as a traffic liaison between all marketing creative sub-departments in order to manage capacity, workflow and deadline. This individual will be responsible for managing workflow by ensuring on-time and orderly flow of project through the department from start to finish. This individual must be able to work under limited direction and be able to recommend solutions to complex problems. Additionally, this talent must have great customer relationship management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage project timelines and budget for projects with all levels of complexities; opens agency projects, schedules, estimates time-of-staff; Assigns creative teams for each project based on technical skills required for production and staff member availability.
· Review and revise traffic schedules when required due to creative art production department work schedule, design changes, backlogs or other interruptions, collaborating with all sub-departments; Manages staff capacity to ensure deadlines are met.
· Report and communicate any problems affecting job quality, due dates and costs to agency team.
· Oversee quality control in conjunction with creative department and production manager.
· Contribute with improving Marketing's processes, procedures and systems to maintain quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
· Communicate daily at traffic meetings involving account executives, production manager, creative directors, and creative team.
· Work with IT to resolve issues, implement new releases and assist staff with traffic software.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
· Concepts, practices and procedures of creative, writing, and design processes at an intermediate level.
· Basic concepts, principles and practices of management and leadership.
· Traffic and/or production processes at an intermediate level.

Skilled in:
· Prioritizing time to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and a changing workload in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.
· Thinking creatively to aid in projects with creative team.
· Analyzing information and using logic to address project related issues and problems.
· Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.
· Preparing and delivering clear, effective, and professional presentations.

Must Haves:
· Keen attention to detail - specifically on marketing materials, presentations, written and visual communications.
· Great customer service skills
· Communication skills that shine and make the difference; must be able to work with others, develop strong working relationships and interact with various levels of co-workers.
· Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, marketing or advertising and minimum three (3) years of marketing, advertising, print production, traffic, or project management experience.
