Marketing Traffic & Project Manager

Our client, an in-house Creative team, is looking for a part-time Marketing Traffic & Project Manager for a 3-4 month contract. You will work as a liaison between the design department and the rest of the company. You will be responsible for efficiently and effectively moving work through to completion and ensuring that all deadlines are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Traffic all creative projects for web, print, and product development
  • Monitor creative team inbox for all new marketing requests, checking that all appropriate information is included and ask clarifying questions from requestors as needed
  • Catalog request materials and input requests into the Excel based tracking system
  • Assign projects to members of the graphic design team
  • Field proof files from designers back to requestor and edits back to designers from requestors
  • Release advertising files to media placement vendor
  • Coordinate printing and production needs with in-house print shops or outside vendors
  • Update and manage job tracking excel status report
  • Distribute deadline information weekly to design team
  • Communicate timelines, challenges and solutions to internal team members
  • Keep team informed of conflicts, delays or any other unusual situations that hold the potential to impact assigned deliverables
  • Proactively and positively approach all challenges in a timely manner, preferably identifying these challenges prior to team members being impacted
  • Preview jobs for quality-assurance prior to reviews with internal staff
  • Ability to motivate team members to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
