Marketing Strategy Specialist

Our client, an in-house agency within a large Fortune 500 organization, is seeking a Marketing Specialist looking to learn and gain experience within this role. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, this role will assist in the execution of strategic business and proposal development for marketing projects. This individual will support Business and Marketing leaders, as well as market-driven new product and overall marketing strategy development project plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all agency new business requests by developing and communicating strategies around client objectives within required timeframe
  • Lead client facing calls and online/in-person meetings and presentations to executive level customers
  • Lead opportunity discovery/identification and associated proposals for existing business upsell and cross-sell
  • Proactively work to identify opportunities for new or repeat business, providing insights to stimulate growth opportunities
  • Create, revise and improve capability presentations
  • Present to executives on agency competencies or proposals
  • Develop project estimates using facts, quotes and experiences
  • Partner with marketing strategy, account and design teams to ensure realistic, actionable plans are put in place
  • Translate complex ideas and industry speak into language easily understood by others
  • Develop ROI models and actively track cases
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
