Marketing Strategist/Social Media Strategist

-Develop social media strategies with definable goals, desired outcomes and reported metrics that advance the objectives for this company
-Optimize Social marketing strategies and tactics through research, search engine optimization, emerging media, social platforms and technology, becoming an expert in available tools and their potential benefit to organization’s digital strategy.

Support activities to create new digital products (i.e. handheld applications and more) or communication methods. Build/maintain relationships with key social media practitioners, clients, and/or missions leaders for the purpose of disseminating information in support of the organization. Monitor social media discussions related to missions and specifically the organization for the purpose of bringing pertinent issues to the attention of leadership, for engaging conversations that advance the objectives of the organization and for monitoring/managing the organization’s reputation while providing analysis that offers perspective for how the organization is impacted. Consult with work groups/offices across the organization in the strategic use of social media.

THIS COULD INCLUDE:
Executive leadership team to influence pastors, churches, denominational leaders in conversations that advance the vision
Crisis action team for use in crisis communications
Overseas strategy teams and mobilization teams to engage and influence churches
Field personnel in evangelism strategies
Pastors and church mission leaders to engage and influence strategic missions involvement
Internal communication for staff and field personnel
Develop and deliver training modules for use by organizational personnel focusing on effective use of social media, including security parameters, and encouraging strategic use of social media by staff (e.g. developing trending keyword and hash tag lists to assist in use effectiveness).

QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree required in relevant field.
Must have proven experience in developing effective social media strategies.
A solid understanding of advertising, marketing, and strategic brand management.
Strong project management and performance management skills.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills required.
Must have the ability to influence and train others.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communications skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
A creative thinker and self-starter.
Ability to work with executive leadership, department administration for design and implementation of social media policies, marketing team for customer/user studies and web analytics research, and global technology services.
Passion for service and willingness to travel.
