Marketing Strategist

• Take full ownership for ensuring Marketing is integrated within the business management process by developing, in partnership with the leaders of The Global and Americas, the annual marketing strategy, marketing plans and a robust budget to support their business strategy.
• Advise and support your clients, develop their Business’s marketing product strategies and roadmap for all marketing activities that the Marketing Execution team deliver against throughout the year.
• Working in relationship with all other marketing functions, and in particular the Marketing execution team, to support the project management and delivery of all necessary activity identified in the Marketing strategy and ensure a holistic approach to our clients’ business needs.
• Co-ordinate effectively and seamlessly between the business and the Marketing Execution team to ensure everything is consistent with the Investment Bank’s business priorities, adding real value year on year.
• Co-ordination with the Marketing Business Management team to deliver comprehensive performance data, including appropriate return on investment information, to our clients, controllers and Corporate Centre.
• Create marketing strategies and plans for product launches and promotion of various businesses. Work closely with the Marketing execution team to deliver upon all creative briefs and tactical plans.
• Ensure timely implementation of all marketing projects, and that activation is in line with the strategic objectives of the business.
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of the business and what drives revenue in order to make informed decisions on presenting ROI metrics and delivering upon the fundamentals of the strategic marketing plan.
• Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and a fundamental understanding for what marketing can contribute in order to gain a competitive advantage.

Job Requirements:
• Extensive experience in a wide range of traditional, digital and direct marketing within the Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals and Rates & Credit business environment – with particular focus on Voice Of The Customer and electronic trading and pending Regulatory /market structure changes.
• Familiar with the prevailing regulatory environment with respect to rules for communications with the public, in order to be able to appropriately steer programs in a manner that is compliant and responsible.
• Experienced in analyzing, developing and implementing all types of marketing research.
• Demonstrable experience in executive level initiatives, complex problem analysis and resolution, handling multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously to deadline and on budget.
• An excellent communicator, with strong writing and message development skills, proven organizational, presentation and analytical skills; a strategic and creative thinker, able to generate ideas and concepts and influence at senior management levels.
• Able to converse fluently at a business level in English. Additional languages, including German, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese considered an advantage.
