Marketing Strategist

A large energy client of Aquent's is looking for an experienced Marketing Strategist to join their Strategy Team. The qualified talent for this position will be able to develop customer outreach strategies, focusing on low income customers. They will collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment, reconcile feedback and provide ongoing input and support to teams executing plan deliverables, as well as track and analyze results. Additionally, the role is responsible for coordinating marketing-related inputs for data requests and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities of Role:
• Collaborate with internal teams to create strategic outreach plans, establish clear objectives and metrics, define targets, manage analytics and data deliverables, execute and track accordingly.
• Provide guidance to the Marketing Communications team in the development of tactics, messaging and creative that support the strategic plan– ranging from advertising and direct-to-customer marketing pieces, to collateral and web updates.
• Support the delivery of ongoing and ad hoc reports as required by internal management and external regulators.
• Oversee marketing budgeting and forecasting.
• Support special projects as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
• 4+ years of experience developing and delivering marketing plans and materials, defining strategic objectives, setting metrics and measuring performance
• Self-starter who can prioritize, structure and manage cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
• Skilled at distilling complex concepts and insights into actionable strategies and tactics
• Advanced analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Advanced communication skills with the ability to write compelling content for marketing materials, reports and presentations
• Proven ability to foster trust and collaborative partnerships at junior and senior levels of a large organization

Desired Qualifications
• Experience in consumer marketing
• Multicultural marketing knowledge
• Passion for environmental or energy-related fields
• Spanish and/or Chinese language proficiency
• Advanced degree; MBA preferred
