Marketing Specialist (Marketo)

Vitamin T is working alongside an educational client in Schaumburg to work part-time (4 hours/day, 5 days/week) for 3-6 months.

The ideal candidate will:
· Have strong experience working with the Marketo application (marketo.com)
· Understand and can put to practical use HTML coding skills (XHTML or HTML 5.0)
· Have the ability to take proposed content for email and work with the project manager to structure the email in a way that drives strong open and engagement rates (as opposed to taking what’s provided and building it into an email page)
· Have the ability to take proposed content for landing pages and work with the project manager to structure the landing page in a way that drives strong engagement rates and connects well with the email that drove traffic to the landing page
· Have the ability to create and manage A/B testing scenarios designed to optimize results from future campaigns
· Capable of working with various list sources, primarily internal sources, to cleanse and prep for use in campaigns
· Have the ability to extract meaningful data points after an email campaign and present them in context of the email industry, making recommendations for improvement to meet or exceed industry standards for open and engagement
· Capable of working on multiple priorities simultaneously and keeping stakeholders updated as progress is made and/or changes are required
· Be solution-oriented and capable of dissecting a challenge to derive one or more possible solutions that could meet objectives and are to be tested
· Be experienced working in a highly-matrixed organization that leverages a combination of new and legacy systems (which may or may not be integrated) to drive business results; must be ‘corporate-friendly’

Desired, but not required:
· Java scripting capability and experience
