The Marketing Specialist develops and executes key components of the marketing strategy to achieve B2C goals. He/she is responsible for developing marketing programs, content and messaging to maintain current customers and attract new prospects. This role will help drive consumer engagement and incremental sales.

• Support the development and implementation of marketing plans to drive consumer and advertiser awareness and engagement.
• Develop and manage customer touch points to build loyalty and advocacy.
• Work with internal and external resources to ensure campaign objectives and deadlines are met.
• Manage the production, tracking and booking of online and off-line marketing campaigns.
• Create and manage weekly customer communication including emails, blogs and social media.
• Manage the development, submission and tracking of email campaigns to ensure timely distribution and achievement of response thresholds.
• Write, edit and/or design marketing messaging including emails, blogs, testimonials and collateral.
• Manage external content partners to ensure content aligns with editorial calendar and SEO goals.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or journalism required.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience
Expertise in digital, social media and relationship marketing
Must be experienced at managing and executing marketing or promotional programs
Experience in SMB (small/medium businesses) segment preferred
Advertising agency and/or media planning experience is a plus

Superior verbal and written communication skills
Aptitude for both creative and analytical thinking
Self-motivated and ability to work independently
Strong problem solving skills
Adept at analyzing research and customer data
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Organizational/project management expertise - able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
High computer literacy and competence with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms

This role is for B2C side of business and will partner w/ an agency, so candidate must have mktg/agency background. This is a strategic role (strategy vs execution), so the person in this position will own programs and run with them, ex- build a loyalty program. Must be motivated and accountable for results. Some analytics - web analysis, review data for campaigns. Will need to have solid writing skills - write copy for email and print. This is a team environment- very fun/creative and attend monthly team outings together. Business causal and jeans are acceptable.
