Marketing Specialist

Global eCommerce client is looking for a results-oriented Marketing Specialist with strong attention to detail that enjoys working in a fast paced environment. The Marketing Specialist will support all grocery and health & personal care categories and will play a significant role in creating an engaging customer experience through development of content for multiple marketing channels. Job functions will include:

· Email Marketing: Targeting, QA, execution, and reporting of retention marketing emails to support vendor initiatives, seasonal events, and other category priorities.
· Marketing Campaigns: Manage marketing activations, build site content, and report on performance of merchandising campaigns.
· Buying Guides: Develop buying guides to engage with and educate customers and increase conversion
· Detail Page Optimization: Work with vendors to create and set-up A+ detail page content to improve conversion
· Reporting & Analysis: Manage and create web analytics dashboards to improve the site experience.


Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• MS Office (pivot tables / vlookups in Excel) --- great if they can create the web analytics dashboards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the internet shopper.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Aptitude for organization
• Experience managing large amounts of data (SQL)
• Experience with both bricks-and-mortar and online retailing
• Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge
• XML/HTML skills: no need to hand-code, but you can troubleshoot
