Our large financial services client located in Hartford is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist for a 6+ month assignment. Our client is looking for an engaging person eager to support the efforts of the Digital Marketing team. This position is critical in the operational implementation of the online campaigns for the organization with a primary focus on our direct to consumer acquisition business. If you are passionate about digital marketing and confident you have what it takes to be part of a marketing team responsible for driving hyper-growth performance for our division’s multi-channel distribution model, then our client wants to speak with you!

This is a junior level marketing role for someone who is extremely detail oriented, with strong excel skills, and understanding of advertising platforms, HTML, or Java Script is helpful.

Position Responsibilities

The Operations Specialist will report to the Ad Operations Manager and play a key role in the function of the Ad Ops group. This role is responsible for implementation of advertising campaigns including:

• Trafficking of search, display, video and mobile ad campaigns through our 3rd party ad server
• Testing of all ad creative for compliance of site specifications as well as functionality prior to campaign launch
• Pre-launch campaign QA
• Post campaign launch QA and analysis
• Implement tracking pixels, assign URL parameters, and media code for accurate tracking and attribution
• Generate and analyze campaign reports from the ad server and various internal systems
• Partner with Marketing managers to maintain and support their campaigns
• Act as point person for IT and external partners to address all operational issues, including pixel implementation, tag deployment, investigating and troubleshooting discrepancies in marketing data

Position Qualifications:
• Exceptional relationship management and communications skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Creative thinker with solid project management, analytical, and problem solving skills and excellent knowledge of Excel
• Strong Microsoft Office capabilities: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of online ad serving
• Experience with AdTech including Atlas, DoubleClick, or similar ad serving solution a strong plus
• Familiarity with Digital Marketing technology for example: Tag Management, Ad Verification, Demand Side Platforms, Ad Exchanges, Data Management Platforms preferred
• Aptitude and dedication to thrive in a dynamic and deadline oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Teamwork mentality and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business
