Marketing Specialist

We're seeking 2 contractors to help plan, promote and execute an Expo for one of our top entertainment clients. Project support role(s) will assist in bringing the magic to life via management of various roles and responsibilities tied to deadlines, deliverables, and management of campaign logistics.

Work experience:
o Event Production & Coordination (scheduling, technical needs, basic operational logistics, talent considerations, etc.)
o Project Management - including but not limited to communicating/managing relationships with 3rd party vendors, sponsors, licensees, and other internal and external partners
o Digital & Social Media (create, produce, and execute social media content; knowledge of social media best practices)
o Past work experience at the Walt Disney Company strongly desired
o MUST be a Disney fan!

Proficiency in:
o Social media publishing and reporting tools/platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
o PowerPoint/Keynote, Excel, Outlook
o Editorial/digital content creation
o Project management timelines, processes, and efficiencies

Skills:
o Proven ability to interface with all levels of management and production personnel
o Strong planning, organization, and scheduling abilities
o Ability to manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects
o Proven ability to respond quickly to social media trends - e.g. live-tweeting
o Effective team player with strong oral & written communication skills
o Must have strong attention to detail and experience working in a fast-pace, quick turn-around environment
o Team player with go-getter attitude and proactive nature
o Sensitive of process, approvals, and confidentiality

Roles and Responsibilities:
o Support Director, Marketing on event needs and logistics in prep and leading up to the event - including management of event logistics, coordination of scheduling, approvals, meetings, documentation, and other needs.
o Help represent content needs as a point of contact to submit all app, guide, site, and social needs - coordinating internally with each group to get answers, communicate needs, and ensure accuracy and consistency.
o Support of tracking, tagging, and measuring needs across all social and digital platforms + print and partnership distribution
o Work with graphics team on EXPO graphics needs specific to marketing or other areas of involvement
o Work with Manager, Marketing to help keep consistent and updated records of all program components including sponsorship, deliverables, dates and timelines, segment information, etc.
o Prepare decks, presentations, and updates as needed for meetings and senior management reviews
o Communicate with internal team on moving parts for all areas of responsibility
o Support wrap report needs for sponsors, business partners, and event recap
