Marketing Specialist

This responsibility is responsible for the coordination and creation in the development of marketing materials including, but not limited to, direct mail, newsletters, and other outward facing marketing collateral; implementing digital marketing and advertising campaigns; supporting national sales team; planning meetings and trade shows; and preparing effective, comprehensive public relations plans. It involves managing marketing projects and campaigns from initial concept to execution to post-activity analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains company and related websites: manages web agency relationships for site design and SEM/SEO, drives content strategy as well as site look and feel, on an ongoing basis.
Executes email campaigns to drive brand awareness and involvement with sales prospects as well as customer communications and retention marketing email campaigns, as needed.
Works independently with business development team to create highly targeted materials and/or facilitate local events that directly impact growth on a daily basis.
Facilitates client presence at several trade shows each year, including pre-show and post-show touch points as well as show services and logistics as needed
Manages design creation of all marketing collateral, including, but not limited to brochures, advertising campaigns and direct mail on a daily basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
2-4 year of experience in marketing or related field.
Candidate’s ability to communicate clearly and confidently is very important.
Written and verbal communication skills are highly valued.
Experience with HTML design and digital analytics.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, PageMaker and/or Publisher.
Occasional travel required (tradeshows, sales meetings); approximately 10% of time.
Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
