Aquent's manufacturing client is looking to fill a new position, due to their incredible growth! Seeking an experienced, self-directed Marketing Generalist to work with the Director of Marketing on all aspects of sales and marketing for the organization.

• Oversee all functions and activities relating to the marketing and sales promotion of the company’s product lines through the successful utilization of marketing funds.
• Create and implement all marketing and promotional activities as necessary to achieve successful company sales plans and increase internal marketing awareness.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s marketing and sales concepts and goals so as to expand, refine, and implement successful marketing and sales promotions for the company’s products.
• Maintain a widespread knowledge of the company’s policies and procedures to support and achieve the company’s goals.
• Build company brand awareness/brand development through the implementation of various marketing research and analysis techniques.
• Create and produce sales, marketing and packaging materials such as sales brochures, point of purchase displays and direct marketing pieces.
• Produce installation, operation, and instruction manuals for products through collaboration with sales managers, general managers, technical and engineering staff.
• Create advertising schedules through publication selection, placement, and purchase of all print and electronic media through bids and negotiation with media vendors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and national trade journalists and media vendors.
• Develop and update advertisements ensuring such material arrives to publications by specific deadlines.
• Research and develop strategic marketing materials through quotes, samples, and the execution of purchase orders.
• Maintain relationships with key vendors to achieve maximum results.
• Maintain customer/prospect databases and execution of internal database information, such as lists and counts for direct marketing projects. Compile and produce sales and marketing reports.
• Coordinate the inventory of all marketing materials including photo work, artwork, graphic work, film, marketing literature, archive files, sample materials and displays.
• Photography – coordinate photo shoots, compose layouts, secure finished product and excute usage to the fullest.
• Tradeshows – coordinate all aspects of tradeshow exhibits, promotions, packing, shipping, and staff travel plans for participants in trade shows.
• Plan, execute, and participate in corporate and community events, such as representative training and executive association meetings.
• Plan and coordinate the updating, and execution of the social media program.
• Develop and produce company newsletters.
• Review and coordinate the updating of company websites.
• Attend and participate in marketing groups and associations to gain knowledge and network.
