The Seasonal Marketing Specialist supports the Associate Brand Mangers (ABMS) and Seasonal Marketing Director in the development and execution of business and marketing plans.
Principal Roles and Responsibilities
Manages execution of seasonal specific portfolio development and tactical plans including:
-Project proposal process for new propositions
-New item cross functional requirements (zfins, UPC creation, etc)
Knowledge management ownership of master file/database (used for above)
Assists Seasonal team in the management of cross-brand business initiatives including productivity and cost-savings activities.
Assists the ABMs in the development of internal and external business overview materials (customer sales presentations, etc.).
Assists ABMs (as needed) in the development and execution of brand-specific tactical plans.
Assists ABMs with day-to-day activities associated with maintaining the portfolios budget, including the review and approval of related expenses associated with portfolio marketing support (media, advertising, research, etc.).
Evaluates data on existing products or selected customer groups as required.
Performs special projects for Seasonal Director as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and sound interpersonal skills
Broad managerial abilities and skills so as to drive projects through to completion and leverage peer influence
Exceptional organizing and prioritizing skills, as well as the ability to multi-task
Excel, Powerpoint, Word proficiency, SAP or IRI knowledge a plus
Candidate in pursuit of MBA for a career in marketing or with 1+ yr. of related experience preferred
