Marketing Specialist

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, participates in and serves as marketing specialist for marketing and promotional campaigns for recruitment advertising domestic and international projects for our organization and associated product lines in fulfillment of Strategic Marketing and Promotional Plans. Coordinates marketing campaigns design and production schedules, using project management software and other methods, working closely with the Creative Services Manager, Graphic Designers, Events and Sales team members, and other cross-functional team members as appropriate. Work closely with Trade Show & Events team to ensure that marketing goals and objectives are met.


Work collaboratively with Director, Managers and cross-functional team members in Strategic Marketing and Promotional Plan Development for recruitment marketing, assisting with tracking of and reporting on fulfillment of annual objectives and goals.
Participate in scheduling marketing campaigns in support of Chronicle products. Manage the production timeline and proofing process with Creative Services and other stakeholders.
Assist with writing and editing marketing collateral, e-mails, online marketing (including banner ads).
Assist with the development, writing, and communication of Marketing plans, promotional recaps, project briefs, project recommendations and presentations.
Work closely with Email Marketing Coordinator to develop and schedule e-mail marketing campaigns through Eloqua.
Coordinate and manage recruitment e-mail marketing campaigns through Eloqua/ Includes: the creation of campaigns, pulling target list segments, deployment of e-mails, creating trigger campaigns, tracking and analysis and lead nurturing.
Assist in the development of a lead nurturing program strategy.
Work closely with the Marketing Director to maintain and update Careers and Careers product information, including reviewing the process, and writing and editing text for products.
Write Careers joiner page copy for issues of our company and work closely with the Graphic Designer on text and design elements.
Participate in product launch process, working closely with Marketing Director, Creative Services Manager, Trade Show & Events Manager, and other team members to meet communications, PR, and overall launch goals.
Participate in sales training sessions that are designed to inform and teach others in the company about marketing activities and initiatives.

Become well versed with the marketing departmental style guide and ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all materials. Proof materials for Marketing department members as needed.

Conference & Event Support

Participate in concept meetings to determine company presence at conferences and events, including booth design, in-booth collateral materials, giveaways, door-drops, and mailers.
Represent our company at select in-person events and conferences throughout the year.

Reporting, Tracking & Analysis

Assist in analyzing marketing and competitive data and consolidating findings to support domestic and international marketing activities and initiatives.
Manage project schedules for each recruitment advertising, enter project schedules into project management system, and monitor and track progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
Prepare Progress Reports and provide weekly updates to Marketing Director and others as appropriate.
Track performance of all marketing campaigns and elements, including e-mail campaigns, direct mail and Web banner ads

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience: 2-4 years’ experience in marketing campaign and project management.

*the job is on-site and the person will work with the Creative Services Manager, Graphic Designers and Events and Sales Team members.

*We are looking for someone with 2-4 years’ of marketing campaign and project management experience, and would like to get your corresponding bill rates for candidates with about 2 years and candidates with 3-4 years.

*We will take a look first at the resumes sent over and then forward them to our manager who will interview the finalist(s) in person and/or do phone interviews.

*We primarily use Windows 7 here, but I will check on additional technical requirements.
