Marketing Specialist

An experienced event professional is sought that can oversee event campaigns and deliver quality project management and event logistics oversight. In this role, you will work alongside our marketing managers to execute events across Canada as part of our extended team.
A background in B2B events is highly beneficial as you will be part of a team producing launches, conferences, sponsorship management, sales briefings and seminars. B2B event experience is preferred although a well-rounded candidate will also have exposure to B2C event strategies and execution. Cross team collaboration is a must.
Applicants with specific skill sets should highlight their strengths in budget management, vendor management, v-team management, social media marketing, managing complex logistics and oversight of the guest experience. The role entails day-to-day management of event programs from planning to follow-up on pipeline generation. This also entails the management of the nurture program which includes the deployment of the monthly newsletter and lead follow-up.


Additional Qualifications:
• Understanding of event marketing trends
• Expertise in the discipline of event marketing - 3-5 events
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
• Excellent technology aptitude is a must
• Lead and execute the nurture program
• Have great time management and be able to manage multiple projects and stakeholder
• Execution focused; must be results driven
• Excellent project management skills, and ability to deliver ontime and on budget
