Marketing Specialist

Play a pivotal role in supporting the global marketing team through business analysis and development. Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader organization. Maintain monthly dashboard on budget vs. actuals and key performance indicators to monitor the health of marketing and inform decision making for senior leadership. Provide analytical deep dives crucial to strategic marketing initiatives. Identify, develop, and codify marketing analysis, necessary infrastructure, and processes across countries, channels and functions. Lead independent initiatives and project manage analysis across all of our functions and regions. Ensure effective prioritization and collaboration. Deliver clear insights into drivers of revenue, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:

Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence. Team player. Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills and impeccable business judgment.

Superior Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros etc.) and advanced level of proficiency in PowerPoint.

Proficiency in Python, PHP or Perl, and Javascript a plus.

Strong experience writing SQL queries, pulling data from relational databases, creating databases, and working with other statistical analysis and data mining software a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience

 

Desired Description and Qualifications:
In this role you’ll drive a new operational engine of Marketing. You will need to have the ability to analyze and diagnose business challenges, formulate solutions, and influence teams to be more efficient and effective. You’ll strengthen and make robust the operating structure and processes to ensure we launch on time, meeting efficiency goals while maximizing ROI for the business. Also, very importantly, you’ll partner with the leads to develop a culture and unified team to get all this done and have fun while doing it. 


Core capabilities to be built include:
Ability to turn around contracts in a short time when needed to avoid retro-dating requests or other business impact of delay to start work
Timely, consistent servicing of PMM needs for SOWs development. 
Forecasting capacity needs and measuring resource utilization on the project.


Minimum Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Contract management experience in high transaction volume environments
Process design & operations experience
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:
Agency experience or paralegal experience.

Responsibilities
Plan project capacity & utilization: Partner with PMMs to plan and execute statement of work (SOWs) for strategic initiatives.
Contracts turn around: Prepare contract drafts working closely with marketer, and ensure timely processing all the way through signature and PO opening.
Project management: Project manage Legal and Finance approvals to get POs completed in a timely manner. 
Measurement: Help track, satisfaction, hours saved, and the speed/ turnaround times for processing “Statement of Work” documents with Legal and obtaining PO approval from Finance. 
Resourcing Expansion: Help develop and oversee necessary resourcing model to enable the centralization of spending administration for Marketing.
Budget/ Spending: Support forecasting based on work in process SOWs and POs. Maintain or provide necessary support for pro-forma of budget for subteams. Assist in maintaining spending plans and summarize quarterly updates (causes of differences) as the year progresses. You help marketing find ways to better anticipate budget needs and ensure resources are spent on our biggest priorities, avoiding preventable waste.
Documentation, Tools & Training: Support the learning agenda for Marketing pertaining to operations, finance and legal compliance in partnership with other Legal and Compliance teams. Leveraging your frontline visibility into Marketing operations, provide input in identification and development of potential high impact internal processes & tools, to help make Marketing and PMMs operate more efficiently. You partner with marketing teams to understand their objectives and help them plan when and how to take all the required steps and get needed approvals in time to ensure our forecasted spend consistently matches our program activities.
