Marketing Specialist

Major responsibilities include: 
• Develop, implement and manage marketing programs to help meet goals and objectives at the local level. Manage project implementation in support of marketing plan objectives. 
• Coordinate efforts of multiple functional areas, monitor progress and make recommendations on work flow and timeliness to achieve completion of approved marketing programs in cost-effective and efficient manner 
• Develop and present strategic marketing recommendations to senior management relative to specified new product development, existing product enhancements, positioning, pricing, profitability, distribution channels, and marketing/advertising programs in support of the Bank goals 
• Collaborate with internal Bank partners to develop strategy recommendations and development such as direct mail, advertising, communications and marketing collateral elements 
• Manage/monitor development of advertising, direct marketing, collateral, local sponsorships, events and other marketing programs as required by developing project-specific marketing/creative strategy documents for the effective development of these elements. 
• Responsible for the management and execution of regional/local sponsorships and events from concept to event delivery including invitations, client premiums, advertising, communications and post event analysis and ROI 
• Manage agencies and vendors 
• Manage programs within assigned budgets 
• Ensure all projects are reviewed by internal brand, compliance and product groups as applicable 
• Manage integration of bank wide initiatives to the local market 

Qualifications: 
At a minimum, the right candidate should meet the following criteria: 

• Minimum of ten years marketing experience 
• Minimum five years of financial services experience is recommended 
• Marketing or product management experience including collateral, advertising and direct mail. Experience across a range of products is preferred 
• Requires strong computer skills with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Share Point 
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills 
• Ability to copy write and edit is desired 
• Ability to manage resources to implement marketing strategies for products, services and markets to take advantage of identified market opportunities
