Marketing Specialist

Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a 12–month assignment.

The Marketing Specialist must be a strong coordinator and project manager, with a desire to drive commercially important projects to completion. It is essential that this individual is a clear communicator and able to support assigned product in its implementation of marketing into the Professional sector. The role will involve coordination and delivery of marketing programs, working internally with the Marketing team’s internal stakeholders, and externally with creative and media agencies.

Related experience in B2B marketing, media-buying or creative delivery is an advantage.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Manage installers and distributor asset/template collections. Help in creating new materials, as needed.
- Review partner assets for brand compliance.
- Assisting in setting up and supporting partners.
- Supporting the Marketing team with its media plan, including:
• Content: Sourcing content for trade publication media, including dealer testimonials.
• Content: Identifying and curating visual and written elements for Trade media content.
• Content: Maintaining a social calendar promoting events and product launches
• Media: Traffic ad creative between creative agencies and media agencies.
• Media: Ensure all deliverables are met for ad insertions including
• Trade Pub Promotional Emails
• Digital Ad units
• Print Ad Units
- Provide the Sales team with briefings on deployment of marketing.
- Support Quarterly business reviews.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Work with US-based Marketing Managers to ensure that marketing programs are implemented and delivered according to the 2017 Global Marketing plan.
2. Help execute e-mail communications. Help to support the infrastructure development of the e-mail program that will run our e-mail campaigns to prospects and distributors.
3. Maintain and add to the blog, informing about new product launches, promotions, and industry insights.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 3-4 years of related experience.
- Understanding of and/or background in marketing. Experience in B2B marketing to the trade.
- Experience coordinating marketing activities that leverage a premium brand.
- Proven success driving awareness, engagement, and conversion results for trade products.

Nice to Have:
- Proven success in delivering marketing support in a timely way.
- Experience working for powerful, iconic brands (consumer or B2B) that engage consumers through disruptive marketing.
- Proven success driving awareness, engagement, and conversion results for trade products.
- Worked with external agencies and agents, e.g. advertising agencies, designers, photographers.
- Experience with marketing measurement: managing analytics and KPI reporting to goals.
- Examples of your work and thought process.
