Marketing Specialist

This position will work closely with all personnel of the vendor marketing team reporting up to FTE Manager. For US Services activities and events, will track overall event and activity list to ensure all entries, reviews and compliance is being done and work with manager on planning and execution of national events and activities. Will assist Demand Gen Marketing Coordinator to ensure all leads are properly entered into respective tools, communicated to sellers and reporting is updated.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overall US Event and Activity Tracking list
o Work with Regional Marketing Specialists on team to ensure all activities and events are represented on the tracker and have gone through necessary reviews and approvals
• National Event Logistics & Management through US Desk Support
o Contact venues for availability
o Book rooms & venues and negotiate contracts/terms
o Ensure all contracts are signed by appropriate employee
o Research and order food and beverage
o Create name badges, prepare materials, SWAG
o Create Evaluations and Invitations where appropriate (service desk can help)
o Registration site submission via US Services Desk
 Including regular registration updates to marketer
o Upload attendee lists with help from US Services Desk
o Lead pipeline follow up with help from US Services Desk
o General Administrative Support

• Marketing Materials & Management:
o Ordering software/SWAG for events/campaigns inclusive of shipping direct to customers/partners & sales team if necessary
o Secure and manage event materials & collateral


• Data Management and Entry
o Assist Marketing coordinator if necessary to:
 Lead opportunity entry and pipeline tracking for region
 Tracking PO’s from open to close
 Manage monthly budget transactions and coordinate with regional finance lead

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• BA or BS and/or 3+ years related field marketing experience in direct mail; target marketing; advertising; and seminar/event marketing
• Ability to multi-task in a very dynamic environment
• Action & detail-oriented
• Strong analytical, organization & prioritization skills
• Team worker with positive attitude
• Takes direction, documents expectations & details, then executes with minimal direction
• Flexible, self-driven and proactive problem solver
• Experience in managing complex programs and projects under pressure
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills
• Comfort and experience working remotely with team members in other geographies
• Strong relationship skills both internally and externally
• Solid experience working with cross- organizational teams
• Intermediate to advanced in Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables, formulas), OneNote & PowerPoint. Sharepoint a plus.
• Must be able to travel within the region
