My client is one of the big Strategy Consultancies, who are looking for a Marketing Specialist with experience from the Financial Services or Insurance sectors.


Role Description:

You will predominantly support the Insurance and Capital Markets practices with developing, implementing and measuring marketing campaigns and activities, using various marketing channels to showcase provocative, insightful content around a focused set of client-relevant issues.

We package and promote our point of view across an integrated mix of traditional and digital marketing channels, enabling client facing professionals to engage clients in conversations around issues crucial to the growth of their businesses. The overall goals are to create deeper understanding of our unique capabilities, help articulate our role in the broader FS industry ecosystem and establish a preference for our brand in top FS market segments and with key institutions.

Candidates must be marketing professionals with experience in delivering creative, integrated marketing programs across multiple channels such as thought leadership, digital, social media and events to:
- create engagement and increase work with current clients
- open doors and build relationships with new clients
- create demand in new market segment
- help grow market share through strategies that support customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and cross-selling.

This position requires an understanding of financial services as well as digital and business-to-business marketing, preferably in a consulting and technology services context. You will be highly organised, a self-starter and experienced in developing content-based marketing campaigns, including the ability to help write content such as blog and social media posts. You must be a team player, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and adept at building senior stakeholder relationships.

You will work closely with the Insurance and Capital Markets practice leads, the Insurance lead marketer, the UKI FS marketing lead and the Global Capital Markets marketing lead. As a member of the broader Marketing & Communications team, you will collaborate with members of the UKI and other geographic marketing teams; internal comms, research & insights team and media relations, to deliver market impact and support an integrated, consistent client experience.

In this fast paced role you need to utilise your strong project management skills, stakeholder management skills and an ability to manage competing priorities

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning execution and measuring industry specific marketing campaigns to help build awareness, generate sales leads and develop senior client relationships
- Create compelling marketing initiatives which will attract senior client executives
- Develop and/or work with agencies to develop web-based assets, e.g. infographics
- Manage the pipeline of, and help in the production of locally relevant thought leadership/ research/ points of view
- Provide writing, editing and creative support for projects within the marketing programs
- Roll-out key global campaigns across multiple channels, tailoring to the UKI market
- Work with local geographic markets team to plan and execute marketing programs, in accordance with Global & EALA FS Marketing strategies and focus
- Leverage best practices across the company to ensure projects are best in class
- Administrative roles include maintaining global templates/calendars, accurate and segmented client data, tracking sales leads from marketing events, along with the timely keeping of records for the procure to pay process, budgets and metrics
- Provide strong internal client service
- Ensure that all global marketing policies and procedures are followed.


About you
You will be highly organised, a self-starter and experienced in developing digital and business-to-business content-based marketing campaign. You must be a team player, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and adept at building senior stakeholder relationships.

Knowledge and skill requirements:
- Proven experience in general and digital marketing campaign strategy, program planning, implementation and measuring ROI.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects in often an intense and deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders
- A team player, able to collaborate and communicate with other marketing professionals in our extended marketing team around the world.
- Skilled at managing resources to effectively achieve marketing goals, including budgets, internal resources and third-party suppliers.
- Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to bring new and fresh ideas and concepts
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar sales/marketing/support tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding and ability to originate and apply marketing concepts
- Strong budget management and financial reporting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passion for strategic, creative, well-executed marketing programs
- Strong implementation orientation and focus on delivering ROI.


Basic Qualifications:
- Mid-level experience in event management, marketing, business development and/or marketing communications roles
- Strong Excel and other MS Office skills
- Professional attitude and service orientation; team player
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Financial Services or business-to-business marketing experience is preferable
