Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for facilitating the smooth, productive and timely workflow for deliverables executed by the marketing team. Your function will be to coordinate requests at all levels of our company to ensure projects are delivered at optimal levels of efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized, detail-oriented people person who can juggle competing priorities and demands (a project management interest or background would be helpful).

You will also be responsible for attracting and interacting with targeted virtual communities and networks users. Maintaining the public voice through mediums like: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Others. Responsible for reaching out and opening dialogue to draw interest in events, products, reports, and other interactive campaigns and messages. You must have a strong understanding of all social media platforms, metrics and reporting, and keep abreast of technology in this area.


The Marketing Specialist will work with the Marketing Department, executives and other staff to ensure proper execution of all duties and requirements.



Daily Responsibilities include:

Reviews all projects submitted to the marketing department and works with Marcom and Operations team leads to confirm priorities, assign resources and develop the project schedule.
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
Maintains the project management software file repository and assures everything is organized and tagged correctly
Provide weekly, monthly status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, managing risk and issues.
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action and participate in discussions or register for events.
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s content.
Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy of each community.
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
Collaborate with other departments (product development, account managers, sales, legal etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Build and execute link-building strategies to enhance off-page SEO.
Manage and report of each account results in terms of organic search, social media marketing, website traffic, engagement, and more
