Marketing Specialist

Our client needs a Marketing Specialist with 2-5 years.

Manage marketing event data updates to the North American Marketing Calendar, and local marketing calendars that include a variety of events, the details of which are sourced from numerous resources
• Learn and advocate the overall adherence of technology tools which enable and support marketing efforts (e.g. Mercerforce, Marketo, Starcite, etc.)
• Submit online exhibit orders and logistics for Mercer events
• Budget tracking and management
• Event registration management
• Act as the liaison between internal new hires and the PR team for new hire press releases
• Locate intellectual capital, press hits, and new brochures to be shared across the market and leveraged with our strategic partners.
• Manage print orders
• Manage creative request submissions for graphic design orders
• Collaborate with marketing vendors related to the sourcing/procurement and distribution of promotional materials utilized at marketing events. Tasks may include: obtaining quotes, selection of vendor, managing logistics, provide and/or review copy, managing vendor payment.

Knowledge and skills
•B.A. in Marketing, Communications, or similar area
•Operate well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision required
•Excellent problem-solving skills and judgment abilities
•Ability to interact professionally with high-level leadership
•Strong editing, proofreading, and composition skills;
•Strong oral communication and client relationship skills
•Excellent organizational and project management skills
•Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment is essential
•Salesforce.com, Marketo or Starcite experience is a plus
