Position- Marketing Specialist
Location-Stamford, CT- local candidates only please
Start date- asap
Duration- 6 months+
On or Offsite- Work is to be done onsite. Remote is not an option.

Marketers offers objective, personalized digital marketing guidance. We help marketers get and stay smarter in their most important digital issues, spanning social, multichannel and data-driven marketing, customer experience, and emerging technology. We do this through realtime personalized guidance and provide you research, data, tools and expert advice. As we ramp up our marketing activity the Marketing Associate will be responsible for driving awareness to our brand through digital marketing activities.

Major activities
• Social media marketing
o Create and execute schedule for Twitter/LinkedIn in tandem with our campaign calendar and track their progress
o Use templates and internal creative resources to create shareable content
o Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our brand, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
• Work with SEO team to generate inbound traffic across the marketing blog, Smarter with Gartner website and webinars
• Conduct weekly and monthly reporting
o Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact
o Collect necessary monthly data and demonstrate impact through charts and other data visualization techniques, in Excel and PowerPoint
• Partner with others in the marketing team to
o Improve awareness for Marketers in high-value segments with content marketing techniques (via channels including web, email, social), building from our existing content
o Refine existing lead generation/creation programs and develop new programs to identify high-quality lead sources
o Drive high-value leads from marketing into sales using digital marketing programs
o Using testing, online analytics and customer usage data to make fact-based decisions on our online presence and marketing campaigns.
o Identify key levers to drive growth - either through existing programs or through new programs, using quantitative and qualitative analysis
o Identify and execute pilots to optimize digital marketing efforts to drive revenue
• Work collaboratively with our partners in Sales, Research, Corporate Marketing programs, Events and IT
• Identify and leverage B2B marketing best practices

Background
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of professional experience in the digital/email/content marketing space
• Experience with social scheduling and employee advocacy tools
• Experience working and delivering results in project-driven teams (e.g., consulting, agency work)
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, analytical skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Solid oral and written communication and relationship skills
• Experience with web analytics, A/B testing and piloting
• Advanced excel skills
