Marketing Specialist

This is a partner facing role that involves implementing a marketing strategy in the breadth and retail channel. It will require an ambitious self-starter who is willing to learn and insatiably curious. The ideal candidate will be willing to lean in to uncertainty, take risks, and move quickly. The OEM Marketing Specialist delivers marketing and operations expertise to our client’s OEM breadth channel partners to enable them to drive positive performance.
Job duties/tasks and responsibilities:
• Implementing and executing marketing plans to drive incremental revenue and attach opportunities in the both the breadth channel and MNAs
• Possessing a solid understanding of the breadth channels as well as other vendors within the corporate ecosystem
• Representing our client at partner engagements; driving meetings and relationships
• Comprehending a variety of business and product related issues and coordinating cross-functional teams to solve issues and drive business results; including monitoring monthly and annual sales targets, budgets and partner programs
• Digital marketing support; digital toolkits to customize product landing pages, microsites, contests, e-newsletters, social media, and print media (POS) for e-tail and reseller websites. Ensuring all marketing creative and execution complies with corporate communication policies, procedures and brand guidelines
• Partner event support and coverage; in-person attendance and pre and post event coordination.
• Manage and ensure the financial integrity of a marketing budget. Ensure that all marketing investments are within our client’s compliance guidelines
Skill sets/ assets:

The marketing specialist role is both exciting and challenging. Candidates for the role must possess the following skill sets:
• 3+ years of experience in tech industry, preferably in a business-to-business role
• High energy, strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Evidence of marketing execution capability
• Passion for solving business problems, working with customers and partners, and working across internal teams
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
