Marketing Specialist - SEM

Apply your expertise in search engine optimization and search engine marketing! This is an exciting opportunity to use your web marketing knowledge and analytical skills to help execute and support all aspects of our SEO and SEM campaigns.

Responsibilities
• In this role you will be providing a variety of metrics, ranking and conversions.
• Research and analyze competitor PPC ads as well as the performance of all of our SEM and SEO campaigns
• Test, refine, and optimize landing pages used for Google AdWords and display campaigns
• Support internal site search optimization utilizing the Google Search Appliance tool to increase visibility of clients pages.
• Execute XML sitemap and robots.txt maintenance and updates
• Perform optimization through site coding, presentation, and structure
• Recommend and implement unique content and keyword strategy processes to support marketing campaigns
• Research latest updates/changes in search engines algorithms, perform tests, and provide recommendations as necessary
• Communicate and recommend strategies between various teams and departments

Requirements
• Bachelor’s in business, economics, computer science, statistics, or other relevant discipline
• Minimum of two years of SEM and/or SEO experience
• Knowledge of and experience with search engines such as Google, Bing, Ask, etc. and SEO tools such as SEOmoz
• Working knowledge of Google AdWords including setting up and monitoring campaigns, Google Analytics, and Google Webmaster Tools
• Experience with online advertising tracking and online research
• Ability to manage multiple SEM and SEO projects at one time
• Ability to work in a team and cross-team environment
• Working knowledge of HTML and other web scripting languages
• WebTrends a plus
