Our client is a well known financial services firm in Garden City, NY and has asked for our help in identifying a MARKET RESEARCHER/COORDINATOR for a long term CONTRACT ENGAGEMENT.

Marketing Specialist

Summary: Responsible for researching market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service.

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 2-4 years related experience required.

Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data. Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

This position will be a sales support liaison position working with the Retail Loan Officer team on a myriad of sales initiatives such as those listed below and other items:
1) Manage Retail Loan Officer Marketing Program
a. Review all requests and approve
b. Manage marketing credit balances, earned credits and order activity based on an internally designed database.
c. Interface on vendors, payment to vendors
d. Generate and deliver Marketing Credit Statements to Loan Officers monthly
2) Manage the HLS Contact List Mailbox
3) Tracking Home Equity & FC Referrals
4) Branch Referral Process
a. Daily audit and follow up of all loans created in Empower to ensure accuracy in referral credit
b. LO Branch Assignment
c. Weekly visit reporting
d. Administration and support of LO’s on Leads 360 and Empower aspects of branch referrals.
i. Referral coding inquiries
ii. Lead reassignments
5) Facilities Planning
a. Sunrise transformation
6) EFax administration
7) Customer Care The candidate must have five years mortgage experience and have a solid understanding of all aspects of the process.

This individual must understand the economics of the business, have industry contacts, strong organizational and communication skills.

The candidate must be above proficient in Windows Office software, Excel, Access, Visio, and Crystal reporting a must.

This individual must have strong account/bookkeeping skills.
