Marketing Specialist - Associate Marketing Account Manager

Our healthcare client is seeking a Marketing Specialist (Associate Marketing Account Manager) to join their marketing team at their San Francisco corporate headquarters. The Marketing Specialist will work as part of an integrated marketing team to provide administrative and project support to the Core Accounts Marketing team. We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional who is a go-getter, creative, and is passionate about health care and marketing.

Attention to detail and an eye for quality is a must, along with the ability to follow through on assignments, be proactive, and be a forward thinker.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Core Accounts Marketing Strategy, but will work closely with the Marketing team.
This client requires drug and background screening.

Responsibilities include:
• Supports Marketing Account Managers through coordination and implementation of online and print communications and events.
• Develops project plans to execute marketing campaigns of low to moderate complexity by preparing creative briefs, estimating costs, preparing timelines, tracking and securing resources.
• Keeps manager and Marketing Account Managers abreast of project deliverables, milestones and budgets through regular status updates.
• Updates marketing collateral by managing the collateral review process including gathering input from subject matter experts, internal and external stakeholders, and legal.
• Provides redlines to Creative Team and proofs materials for accuracy before distributing to stakeholders for approval.
• Manages promotional items for the team, including budget management, procurement, online inventory tracking, and shipment management.
• Prepares PowerPoint presentations, including updating and editing based on feedback, and obtaining subject matter expert/stakeholder reviews and approvals.
• Follows up with Blue Shield staff and vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned deliverables.
• Manages and coordinates event logistics and provides support as needed for open enrollment fairs, wellness events, etc.
• Coordinates shipments and validates delivery of marketing collateral to customers, vendors, and other locations as needed.
• Initiates purchase order requisitions and check requests for the team and tracks purchase requisitions and invoices and produces quarterly budget reports.
• Coordinates marketing staff meetings and other meetings as required and prepares and distributes meeting minutes as requested.
• Adept at using CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketo for data input, campaign set up, reporting and analysis
• Works on special projects as designated by manager.
