This group is responsible for  the clients' participation in the international standards process that spans more than 100 countries. The work they do is focused at the intersection of business, technology and public policy. They need to apply communication and marketing capabilities to drive internal awareness and adoption of the standards they produce by other teams. In addition, they need to build content and capability for ther group to do targeted policy and opinion makers outreach on the same subjects.


This position requires policy, communication, and marketing skills associated with researching targeted audiences, analyzing disparate sources of information, collaborating to build compelling narratives and generating content such as documents and presentation materials. Familiarity with concepts of the tech industry, diplomatic x-team collaboration skills, background in the legal, regulatory, and compliance issues are essential for this role.  The role is initially scoped for a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension based on project demands.

The work we will be doing is marketing internally to the clients' audiences and external audiences on key standards within the company. This role will potentially interact with technical folks, engineers, and internal stakeholders. Will help integrate various marketing for outbound Regulatory Frameworks, ie: privacy regulations for international projects. This resource will work on educating, raising awareness, and packaging the work in ways other groups can consume it. Will establish value and integration and understand schedules for content and get our work into those cycles.

Most of the team are veteran engineers that do technical diplomacy work. What we need to do is help educate and raise awareness within the company and some external stakeholders on how other companies and government can purchase their services.




Targeting 2-3 years of Marketing, compliance, legal, or public policy experience and prefer 3+ years of overall experience.

Preferred:  Legal, corporate compliance, or other working experience within Law firms, or other compliance related work experience.




Must Haves:

  • Content Creation in some capacity (Good writing skills for external facing content/customers)
  • Need to be able to conduct research and TRULY knows what it means to dig-in
  • Legal and Compliance background, history working with legal and corporate compliance.
