Marketing Research Lead

Our client is seeking a Lead Research consultant to define, lead and manage research insights and analytics for several key segments/matrix business partners. In this role, strong research and analytical skills are required for all phases of research including: objective setting, data collection design, vendor management, application of data analysis, and reporting of findings that are concise, meaningful, and provide new insights that successfully guide business advancement. The consultant has the accountability to propose compelling business solutions that encourage specific actions that help provide competitive advantage.

This role is highly-matrixed to ensure findings are understood, targeted to business goals, and results are actionable. The Research Lead Consultant will take a prime role in making the critical connections that help to advance cooperation and understanding. The Consultant will also be responsible for ensuring all research is designed and conducted in the most efficient and effective manner, at the highest quality levels to build trust and confidence in the findings and encourage business progress.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate with high degree of organization, expert in all aspects of research design and execution, comfortable in a highly collaborative setting working with other leaders, and able to produce convincing analyses and presentations
• Partner with members of the Global Market Research team, data mining analytical functions, and business and functional partners, including Marketing, Business Segments, Product, and other key groups.
• Listen to internal leaders’ needs and provide actionable business tactics & strategies on a proactive basis.
• Ensure appropriate business recommendations
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for quality control
• Remain current on latest methodologies and technology
• Provide training, guidance and mentoring to the team
• Champion information strategies that provide deep and broad-based consumer & marketplace knowledge
• Develop relationships and provide convincing business insights.
