Marketing Reporting and Analysis

We are looking for a Marketing reporting analyst for a 6 month contract WIth Excellent SQL and excel skills, pay is $40/hr in DC onsite.

• Perform analysis and segmentation to drive insights into customer behavior and customer acquisition methods

• Proactively identify business performance opportunities, risks, and key trends across the broader business based on data analysis.

• Use data query tools such as SQL to collect and consolidate daily, weekly, or monthly data from databases to create
marketing reporting and metrics to support campaign analysis.

• Utilize MS Excel Pivot tables to create final data presentations views, as well as allow flexibility for end-users to customize reports.

• Evaluate effectiveness of new marketing campaigns by comparing results with original assumptions and forecasts and measuring ROI

• Work with internal business owners to understand and support their information and analytical needs

• Support ad-hoc reporting requests which provide custom views of available data

• Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this job

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Marketing Analytics experience

• Must be able to communicate / interact effectively with all levels of
management while operating in a complex and rapidly changing environment

• Ability to operate independently, solve problems and achieve results while balancing and prioritizing work on multiple projects

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

• Ability to query multiple SQL databases with either SQL Tools or

Microsoft Access

Requirements and General Skills:

• Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized

• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

• Knowledge of SQL query language

• Understanding of basic networking concepts and functionality
