Marketing Promotional Material Editor

This position supports positive outcomes related to the Promotional Review Board process. This role ensures all comments/updates on all promotional and some non-promotional pieces are accurately captured, recorded and communicated to all involved parties. This role is the meeting scribe within promotional review meetings. The Editor also reviews corrections made by the Agency/Advocate and proofreads print proofs. Also responsible for PRB meeting minutes and other key data capture.

Essential Functions:
• Performs initial full copyedit to Material prior to meeting or electronic review due date
• Accurately captures Reviewer comments and decisions on the promotional material within meetings
• Ensures consistency across similar jobs
• Proofreads changes made by agency (e.g. looks for spelling, grammatical errors, etc.); ensures additional changes were not made
• Reviews all print proofs to ensure job is exact to the approved material in the workflow system
• Assists with data capture and ad-hoc reports within workflow system or data capture forms
• May be asked to provide editorial input into material created internally by all levels of employees
• Ensures NNI standards (e.g. language, Corporate Visual Identity, etc) are followed within all promotional material
• Stamps all jobs with appropriate disposition in timely manner

Minimum Requirements
• 5 - 7 years related experience in the development or delivery of marketing promotional materials
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
• Editing experience required
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in electronic workflow system is required; experience in Zinc Maps helpful
• Deadline oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Must be highly organized and attentive to details
• Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Certificate preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and regulatory experience preferred
• Strong command of the English language required as this role will need to make grammatical edits and spelling corrections to pieces
• Knowledge of AMA temp editor
