Marketing Project Traffic Manager

Our global manufacturing client is seeking a Marketing Project Traffic Manager to build brand awareness through comprehensive marketing campaigns. 2018 company activities will include re-branding acquisitions and on-going changes to existing packaging lines. To support these efforts, the Traffic Manager will aid in the development of literature, packaging, proofing, print fulfillment, promotional items and approvals. 

ACTIVITIES 
• Act as main point of contact between internal and external groups to maintain efficient project workflow. 
• Ensure that each stage of a project moves toward completion in a timely manner by monitoring job status, assisting with change requests, and resolving discrepancies. 
• Manage requests for sales sheets, brochures, product write-ups, promotions, ads, social media posts, video scripts, etc.
• Ensure that all parties are familiar with project requirements, deadlines, and priorities. 
• Work with vendors to approve print proofs in a timely manner. 
• Provide status reports on projects lists with marketing, management and various team members. 
• Facilitate the research and development of promotional materials and sales tools. 
• Manage literature inventories and print-on-demand volumes to keep costs within budget. 
• Proof read all marketing literature and packaging for grammar and design consistencies. 
• Manager the completion of contracts under review with Legal. 
• Record existing and future department processes. 

The job involves working cross-functionally with other departments within the organization as well as vendors as you drive projects to completion. This direct hire role is based out of the Wauwatosa office and may require the ability to travel 1-2 times per year. 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications, Marketing or related field 
• Minimum 5 years marketing communications experience 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Exceptional organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Strong project management and experience trafficking marketing projects
• Vendor relations, print production, packaging specifications and design process experience preferred. 
• Able to function within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
