Marketing Project Manager/Account Manager

The Marcom Program Manager (MPM)/Marketing Account Manager is responsible for driving the development and creation of marketing communication assets that create awareness and preference for company products and services at product launch and beyond.

The MPM is responsible for producing materials with consistent messaging across all channels and vehicles including digital, print, web events, advertising, etc. They work with Market Development to understand and align on the business' objectives and strategies to help optimize & effectively execute program plans.

Working with the execution teams (Marcom, eBiz, external agencies), the MPM will ensure delivery of compelling marketing communication assets that are implemented to meet strategic goals.

Marketing communication assets include such deliverables as training and sales materials, new campaign materials, advertising (print & online), collateral, direct marketing emails, trade show materials, video, photography, etc.

The MPM is responsible to prioritize activities and oversee that all execution actions and milestones are accomplished on time and budget and that all deliverables meet corporate guidelines, brand strategies, and quality standards and requirements.

The MPM must function as a team player building strong relationships with the business and execution teams. Effectiveness in this role requires a thorough working knowledge of the Marketing Communications process and the department’s policies and procedures. The job encounters work situations of diverse scope and moderate to high complexity and identifiable factors. An MPM will need to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine action. This position interacts with all levels of internal and external personnel. This interaction requires solid communication and organizational skills to communicate status and activities.

Ability to understand business strategies and prioritize activities appropriately.
Must work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
Able to work in a highly matrixed environment and effectively navigate systems/processes.
Resourceful in solving problems; good judgment.
Team player with excellent people skills and written / verbal communications
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Self-motivated, engaged and accountable.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline or equivalent education preferred.
Requires at least three (3) years in marketing communications, agency project management or similar role.
