We are looking for a Marketing Project Manager for a temp-perm position with our financial services client in the Northern Suburbs – needed ASAP.

The Marketing Project Manager will have an important role in launching online money transfer acceptance at brick-and-mortar locations nationwide. These in-store transactions will flow to and from the money transfer system, utilizing unique payment infrastructure. This exciting new, large-scale initiative will provide significant exposure to the emerging payments landscape, customers and internal teams.

This talent will help develop go to market materials and programs for the acquisition relations and strategic relations teams to ensure participation and launch goals are met. This individual will also initiate marketing materials and programs to support the acquirers’ deployment of the program to their merchant clients. The Marketing Project Manager will provide support to sales and other marketing staff as well as external partners to meet acquirers’ and merchants needs.

Responsibilities:
•Create offline and online marketing materials, presentations and programs to successfully secure retained merchant and acquirer participation of this transformational initiative.
•Work with acquisition relation sales team and money transfer vendor to draft deployment programs and materials to communicate program with merchant base through acquisition channels (communication channels include statement inserts, statement messages, direct mail, telemarketing, email, and all online properties).
•Collaborate with the strategic team and 3rd party vendor to implement program at all retained merchant locations. Support presentations, marketing efforts, launch kits and other needs to ensure active participation at points of sale.
•Aid in identifying and developing necessary materials for channels of communications to support both third party acquired and retained merchants activation. Serve as a subject matter expert for the Global Merchant Marketing team on this initiative and provide support to other marketing staff on incorporating relevant language into their programs and materials.
•Support the internal cross-functional team to successfully execute each individual acquisition roll-out in a timely manner.
•Identify and help problem solve issues throughout the phases of this initiative. Make recommendations and modify materials, plans or programs to accommodate individual acquirer and/or merchant needs.


Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years marketing experience; Sales experience a plus.
•Experience in payments industry strongly desired
•Balance of creative and analytical skills, along with organization and prioritizing skills a must
•Basic relationship management and client facing competency
•Ability to communicate, work and present comfortably
•Self-starter, proactive multi-tasker with a great attitude
•Willingness to travel
