Marketing Project Manager

The individual hired for this role will report to the Director of Project Management and the VP of Marketing & Creative Services at the client's Interactive Entertainment’s new premiere design studio in Burbank, California. They will be responsible for managing the digital marketing campaigns for their digital streaming service. As part of their role, he/she will help to scope, define and manage project requirements so that the Creative Services team has all of the information to execute projects correctly and on time. The Project Manager will focus on the deliverables for both Video and Display Marketing, will regularly work with creative services managers, marketing representatives, product owners, and other business stakeholders to track milestones and deadlines, to ensure an efficient creative process.


The candidate must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm and a fine eye for detail. They must also be able to work independently, proactively gather consensus from multiple internal stakeholders and be able to change tasks quickly based on shifts in priorities or urgent deadlines.

Position must be located in our new offices in Burbank, California.


Requirements:

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail is paramount

Must have experience working with Project Management systems such as Asana or Jira

Must be able to manage project request queue, assets and tasks

Must be a team player

Project management experience in Entertainment is preferred but not required

An understanding of common design issues, challenges and guidelines

Own overall project communication, coordination and processes

Ensure that all project goals and tasks are documented, well communicated and completed.

Monitor, communicate and crush project risks and roadblocks.

Drive discussion when conflicts arise and work with the team on alternative approaches. Find a way to make it happen.

Work closely with management, creative, marketing and project stakeholders to ensure coordination of timely materials delivery.

Help with resource planning and allocation

Develop project plans for key projects using appropriate planning techniques that track progress of critical business objectives. Highlight and drive the resolution of risks surfaced by such plans.

Review business, functional and technical requirements for completeness and identify gaps, as needed.

Recommend and implement process changes as necessary

Evaluate and assess each project’s results

Must successfully pass a background check.
