Marketing Project Manager

Local bank in Lodi, CA is looking to bring on a Marketing Project Manager for an immediate Temp-to-Perm contract. This role will report to the VP of Marketing. The Marketing Project Manager is a key role within the marketing and sales organization for the bank, so this is an opportunity for the right individual to contribute at a high level, take on greater responsibility and grow his/her career in a fast paced environment. This individual will assist in the implementation of a variety of marketing and communication programs through collateral development, campaigns, advertising, and other online and offline initiatives. The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to resolve business issues in a professional manner.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Work with Corporate Marketing, management, and the sales team to create and oversee the implementation of integrated marketing initiatives for campaigns, product positioning, value added programs, and new market launches.
2. Actively manage (from concept and creative development, to rollout and optimization) internal and external marketing initiatives, including brochures, ads, flyers, posters, direct mail, legal, compliance, disclosure-related items, video, email, and web.
3. Develop project timelines and coordinate production specifications and scheduling.
4. Write content for print and electronic advertising, internal communications, web page updates, collateral updates, etc.
5. Responsible for product information accuracy and obtaining necessary advance approval from executive management, compliance and business stakeholders.
6. Develop and test new value propositions, product positioning, and messaging along with integrated marketing channels for performance optimization.
7. Analyze data and provide recommendations toward the development of new campaigns.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and manage archives.
9. Monitor material usage and assist in soliciting feedback and information for improving materials and processes.
10. Assess ideas and projects to determine broader application, impact and scalability and adapting and implementing as applicable.
11. Recommend project budget and monitor implementation costs.
12. Research, evaluate, select and manage printing vendors, including competitive bidding to ensure optimal quality within budget parameters.
13. Manage print materials including pre-production process, press production, finishing, distribution, and fulfillment.
14. Occasional erecting and removing exhibits and/or displays.
15. Occasional travel to community events, bank Branches and/or other designated locations.

Education & Skills Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or business related field. Previous experience in banking preferred.
2. 7+ years of project management and direct experience creating and driving successful multi-channel marketing programs.
3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and articulate the context, outcomes, impact of the analysis.
4. Ability to organize projects, prioritize workflow, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously, independently, and accurately while meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities and timelines.
5. Proactive, self-motivated and able to take steps to identify and address existing and potential obstacles, issues and opportunities.
6. Highly resourceful and have a curious approach to problem-solving.
7. Must demonstrate ability to exercise independent judgment, initiative and tact in dealing with management, supervisors, staff and the general public.
