Marketing Project Manager

The Marketing Project Manager implements the production of marketing materials in accordance with the strategic goals of internal clients and the organization. Responsible for hands on execution of both internal and external marketing and sales communications needs. Maintains and enhances client relationships. Included among the responsibilities of the Specialist are the creation of production schedules, the day to day tactical management of projects, use of an automated system to create and customized marketing/sales samples and project workflow routing. Works closely with Editorial, Design, Production work units, sales partners and outside vendors. Must be extremely well organized and able to create, maintain, and revise detailed project timelines, along with report job progress to the Creative Department/Marketing teams. Great attention to detail and the ability to work with teams in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines is critical.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Provide tactical project oversight in the successful execution of marketing deliverables.

· Partner with Creative team members.

· Implement project plans that support the go to market strategies.

· Contributes to the writing of creative briefs documents and understands the deliverable and goals of the project or campaign.

· Understands and leverages Marketing processes/ procedures and tools to accomplish tasks.

· Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and traffic multiple projects and demands to ensure efficient and effective project completion.

· Strong facilitation and communication skills required.


· Minimum 5 years work experience preferably in Financial Service Industry.

· Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to facilitate project workflow using project management workflow tools.

· Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team.

· Relationship management and/or consulting experience desired.

· Ability to traffic the project workflow to achieve results.

· Ability to work well under pressure and to easily adapt to changes in priorities to meet marketplace and business needs.

· Some understanding of marketing, sales and product development culture.

· Strong proofreading skills.

· Superior oral and written communication skills, ability to translate complex ideas into clear and simple format.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
