We are looking for a Marketing Project Manager for a client in Seattle!

The client is currently launching a new website and the Marketing Project Manager will assume responsibility for keeping the new site current and planning for version 2.0.

The Marketing Project Manager will ensure that graphic standards for branding are consistently implemented across the various communications pieces and collateral the MRC produces. They will be overseeing production of all member communications (e.g. newsletters, annual report, white papers) and will work with the program committees and incorporate their activities, ideas and concerns to produce pieces that reflect MRC’s standing as the industry’s leading trade association.

This person will be continuing to build on already solid media connections, the Marketing Project Manager will produce an editorial calendar for proactive creation of pieces to place the company as a thought leader in the industry. Coordination with other industry conferences to get company leaders in speaking roles will be very important. They will also fielding incoming media inquiries and develop a roster of volunteer speakers and contributing writers to enhance these projects.

• Qualifications
• Five years of communications experience (newsletters, web content, events, PR, advertising, etc.).
• Strong writing skills: Experience writing a wide variety of marketing and outreach pieces, as well as experience ghostwriting. (Writing samples will be requested from all candidates)
• Capable editor: Needs to synthesize information created by various staff and volunteer leaders for publications and website.
• Website management: Experience using websites as an outreach and marketing tool and overseeing outsourced web development. Knowledge of
• Community Enterprise software preferred.
• Quick study: Must prove ability to come up to speed quickly and learn about online commerce issues.
• Strong technical skills, specifically in using PowerPoint, InDesign, Outlook, and Photoshop.
• Highly organized with exceptional time and project management skills.
• Experience managing and supporting volunteer committees.
• Digital photography and photo editing skills desired.
• Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.
• Must pass drug screen and credit check.
